The Koni Challenge Series was a great experience for us. We took part in the VW Corral hosted by Herby53 and our sponsor Koni Suspensions. We woke up early in the morning to be on the road by 5am to drive from New Jersey to Connecticut. The cruise up was amazing with great roads and awesome scenery.

We arrived at the track to be be greeted by other dubbers and clubs from the area as well as Koni. We set up our tents and had super relaxed time watching the races that were running all day. Koni raffled off t-shirts, hats, banners and hot laps. The hot laps was a chance for someone to ride shotgun in actual racecars with a professional driver at high speed. If that weren't enough the grand prize was a full Koni Coilover Kit.

We got to do a parade lap around the track. The parade lap alone was worth the ride to limerock. Speeds were kept to a minimum but got very interesting towards the end where we able to let loose at some high speeds. Coolwater was also asked to be in the winners circle at the end of the race, where we got to hand out the trophy and got to enjoy a champaign shower with the winner.

All in all it was a great day. We look forward to doing it again next year. If Anyone is thinking of going, do yourself a favor and do it. You will not regret it. we had a awesome time and can't wait to go back again. Hope to see more people there next time. Now if we can only get a couple of more parade laps, hmmm...?
